A Reality for Christian Marriages

Hey there, muh friends!

Nag-guest (ulit) ako kahapon sa G-Radio to discuss biblical submission. As usual, hindi namin na-hit yung 40-minute na mark! Hahaha! Mukhang palaging overtime ang G-Radio kapag nagge-guest ako. Hehehe. Sorry Gie! ✌️ We talked for 1 hour to discuss this subject! Hehehe. Well, at least 'di na kasing-haba like nung last time na nag-guest ako. LOL

These were the questions posed in this episode:

  • What does 'made in the image of God' mean and how does it relate to submission?
  • Are there limitations when it comes to biblical submission?
  • What does 1 Peter 3:7 mean by women being the 'weaker vessels'?
  • Is submission supposed to be about superiority?

Submission is a reality for Christian marriages. There's no escaping this. If we love God, we will obey His commandments (John 14:15). And God commands every wife to submit to their husbands. Likewise, all men are called to submission to their head: Jesus Christ.

Sa maraming wives, submission is a scary thing. Actually, to encourage submission nowadays is almost considered taboo, especially amongst 'progressive' circles. But it would be impossible for a wife to honor the Lord sa marriage and to live out the meaning of marriage without practicing submission. It is a requirement per God's Holy Word.

If you want to learn more and familiarize yourself sa discussion na ito, listen to this G-Radio episode and send me your questions through comments!

Hope this helps you appreciate biblical submission and marriage, friends! God bless!
